Cozy Cats to Make on a Rainy Day!
Are you looking for a super kids craft for a rainy day? Want an activity that will keep your youngsters engaged and occupied during the holidays? Need a craft that is simple to do with little fuzz and minimum of mess? Then this Fuzzikins Craft: Cozy Cats set from Interplay Educational Toys could be the one to pop onto your shopping bag!
My kids love making their own crafts and this is an ideal one for those days when they need (or want) minimum supervision. It is also great for visiting friends who don’t craft much at home but want to join in with us too.
What’s Inside the Box?
We opened the box to find:
- instruction booklet
- 3 cat figurines
- felt tip pens
- a brush
- sleeping bags
- an assortment of accessories
We carefully unpacked the box and read the instruction leaflet before deciding which cat to make first.
This craft box was aimed at children aged 5 years and over. My daughter was able to make these with very little help and loved the fact that she could do it on her own.
She started by colouring in the smallest cat figure. She made a small mistake but made the cat stripy and spotty as well! Next, she followed the instructions and made the little sleeping bag. Then, she added some accessories.
Once she had completed the first cosy cat, she was able to make the others with hardly any supervision at all.
Our Thoughts on the Fuzzikins Craft Cozy Cats
We thought that this was a really neat craft to make and easy to make as well. The figurines were small enough to be cute but not too small and fiddly. The craft could easily be completed in an afternoon. As soon as the felt tip pen was dry, she could play with her new Cozy Cat figures all afternoon!
A great birthday or general present and it is already on my shopping list for future birthday parties too!
