How to Make a Kite Gift Tag
I am always running out of gift tags and have been known to just to stick a birthday card to the gift instead! This year, as part of being more organised, I decided that I would have a supply of luggage tags in the house just in case we need a gift tag. These are very functional tags but they are also quite boring to look at, but I was stuck for any decent ideas to make them more interesting.
My kids were crafting and making small kites to stick on a picture and I suddenly thought that this was a great idea for gift tags too! These are so easy to make and can be customised to match the gift by using a scrap of the wrapping paper you have used!
Materials You Will Need
luggage tags (or plain card cut into rectangles) scissors
string black pen paper glue
How to Make Kite Gift Tags
These are so easy there are just four main steps:
- Cut out some diamond shapes from your paper or wrapping paper.
- Glue these to the front of the luggage tag.
- Draw a string coming off the bottom of the kite and add some bows to it.
- Add some flying birds to make it look like the kite is in the sky.
Now all you need to do is attach the luggage tag to your wrapped gift and you are ready to give it to that special person!Make these gorgeous gift tags! Ideal craft for using up those scraps of craft paper.Click To Tweet
