Most kids love Easter eggs! They like painting on hard boiled eggs, opening them to see what is inside and most of all eating them!
However, as parents we do try to make sure that they can enjoy having Easter eggs without having too much chocolate.
We loved the Paper Mache Easter Egg featured on Peakle Pie and decided to fill one with other things for Easter!
We added:
POP CORN – sweet or salty it takes up lots of space and is tasty too!
SEED PACKETS – so that we can grow some spring flowers.
PENCILS – because everyone loves colouring in.
CHOCOLATE COINS – a firm favourite but is less chocolate than a traditional egg.
MINI LEGO MAN – to go with our huge box of building bricks.
So as you can see we created a wonderful Easter Egg that is a great alternative to the usual chocolate eggs she receives at Easter.
