How to Make a Fun Yellow Submarine Paper Collage

Yellow Submarine pictures to brighten our home!  After a long dismal winter, something a bit bright and fun seemed a good idea!  We decided to make some bright yellow submarines to decorate the upstairs hallway with!  Although spring flowers are lovely, these submarines are quirky and easy to make too.  This is a great craft for kids and grown-ups of all ages.

How to Make a Yellow Submarine

These are so easy there are just six main steps:

  1. Find a picture of a submarine – we used one we scanned from a postcard and printed off.
  2. Place picture on top of the card, secure with sticky tape and carefully cut around the submarine picture until you have a simple submarine silhouette.
  3. Take the other sheet of card and cover in glue.
  4. Add the torn pieces of different shades of yellow paper to the glue.
  5. Once dry place the card submarine over the top of the yellow card.

Now all you need to do is to hang it up or place it inside a picture frame!
