How to Make a Simple Candle Christmas Card

Simple Candle Christmas Card

This Candle Christmas card is easy to make and so pretty to0!  We love making our own Christmas cards and decorations for family and friends.  Making them with youngsters also helps them to express their own creativity as well as showing that handcrafted cards and gifts are a lovely way to show that you care at Christmas time as well.

Materials and Equipment

You will need:

blank card or a folded sheet of card

pencil

paper

glitter

glue

sequins

scissors

How to Make Your Candle Christmas Card

First, cut the paper into three different sized columns.  Next, glue these onto the front of the card to make a trio of candles.  Then, draw on a black wick with the pencil  and add some glue to the top of the paper candle and down one side.  Sprinkle some glitter onto the glue, shake off the excess and then allow to dry.

Finally, add some glue to the top of the wick and place the sequins onto it to create a flickering flame.  Allow to dry and then add a festive greeting of your own to the inside of the card.  Why not try adding some paper holly leaves or sparkly snowflakes as decorations on the candles to make your cards look extra festive?

We really enjoyed making these Candle Christmas Cards and they very easy for youngsters to make as well.  Another rainy or snowy day project on the lead up to the festive season!
