What You Will Need
1 cup flour half cup salt bowl water small dough cutter or egg cup silver foil silver or gold paint paintbrush baking tray greaseproof paper
How To Make Your Pirate Treasures
Put the flour, salt and a little water in a bowl and mix together until you have a dough. Roll out the dough and squash it down to about half an inch (1cm) thick. Take the small dough cutter or egg cup and use to cut out circles, place these on a greaseproof paper-lined baking tray. Next, roll out some of the dough into long snake shapes and then curl these up into ring shapes and place onto the baking tray. Finally, make some small dough beads by rubbing the dough between your fingers. Join these together to make a necklace shape and place on the tray.

Either allow to dry or bake in the oven on a low heat until the dough is hard. Once this is done you can decorate your pirate treasures with silver foil or paint them with gold or silver paint. Try glueing some beads, sequins or adding glitter to make them extra special and sparkly.
These pirate treasures are great to use in roleplay activities such as treasure hunts, pirate games and just to put in a treasure chest box to admire!
