How to Make Gingerbread Sloths

First you will need to make or buy some gingerbread men. Why not try our simple one that we used for our Decorated Snowflakes.  Just remember to use a gingerbread man cutter to make your basic shape.

You will also need:

cream and chocolate frosting/cupcake icing

chocolate drops

chocolate button or small brown candy

a spoon.

How to Decorate Your Sloths

Add the brown frosting to your gingerbread.  Smooth it with the back of the spoon until all of the gingerbread is covered.  Then stipple the frosting to make it stand up like sloth fur!

Next add the cream frosting to the face of the gingerbread, again stippling this with the back of the spoon to make ‘fur’.

Next add chocolate drop eyes and a candy nose.

Try mixing the fondant to get different coloured sloths and serve them with a cool glass of milk – delicious!
